A top-down animated pixel art beach tile set for you RPG style game

This tileset includes -

  • Sand tiles of various designs, all tileable
  • Horizontal and Vertical stretches of shoreline ( 16 frames - animated)
  • Inward and outward curved shoreline ( 16 frames - animated)
  • Ocean wave animation is sprite based for ease of use

Tiles are 16x16, for grid based level layout.

Many hours of work went into this pack to try and ensure that it is versatile enough for level designs, however there may be use cases which I haven't anticipated.

I would love feedback on the pack, so feel free to add suggestions to help improve the pack. This is Version 1.0, I want to further improve the tileset with more additions, which will be available free of charge to purchasers of this pack.

Thank you.

Would love to get this in a 32x32 size

Possibly in the next update to this in that case. How big are your player characters? Thanks for checking it out :)

My game is currently all 32x32. Currently using this as my player character https://mikanimus.itch.io/pach-hero I have a beach scene but have been having one hell of a time finding this exact asset for it. Using a placeholder pack from the unity store but I cant stand it.

I see, have you seen the new screenshot I uploaded with some sprite characters for size?

Yeah I was looking over them. My only concern would be my other 32x32 assets being used on top of it for decorations. If you had just the water and sand shadow that would probably work.  Honestly might be more useful that way because I wouldnt need to retexture my whole beach with your version of sand haha

In the next update I’ll see if I can do some more variable sizes. Keep an eye out :)
